The Shocker Impact Cushion Hitch Sway Control Towing Kit combines a dual bump cushion hitch with friction sway control for smoother, straighter bumper pull towing — rated at 12,000 lb GTW and 1,200 lb tongue weight. The dual cushion pivoting design absorbs road shock, bumps, and bangs that come with towing on highways and rough Canadian back roads, while the adjustable friction sway arm stiffens the truck-to-trailer connection to keep your rig tracking straight. Use one sway kit for trailers up to 10,000 lbs or 24 feet, and two kits for heavier or longer trailers.
The included black combo ball mount features a 2-5/16″ ball (20,000 lb GTW) and a 2″ ball (10,000 lb GTW) with dual sway bar mount tabs. The flip-around frame design gives you 7 adjustment holes across a 4″ rise to 4″ drop range — flip the entire hitch to access more rise or drop as needed. Two hitch pin holes allow for length adjustability and accommodate hitch-mounted mud flaps. Each sway kit includes a friction arm assembly, 1-1/4″ trailer mini ball, 1-1/4″ hitch mounted ball, lock washer, nut, 4 metal lag screws, and 2 retaining clips. Additional ball mount options are available separately.
