The Shocker Air Hitch with Raised Ball Sway Control Towing Kit is built for camper and trailer towing where a raised ball mount is needed — rated at 12,000 lb GTW and 1,200 lb tongue weight. The built-in air ride system and dual rubber bump cushions absorb road shock, bumps, and tugs on highways and rough Canadian back roads, while the friction sway arm stiffens the truck-to-trailer connection to keep your rig tracking straight. Air naturally reduces sway tendency; the friction arm fine-tunes the rest. Use one sway kit for trailers up to 10,000 lbs or 24 feet, and two kits for heavier or longer trailers.
The raised ball mount features dual sway bar mount tabs in a solid one-piece welded construction, with 8 adjustment holes offering 2″ of rise to 2″ of drop — ideal for trailers with higher tongues or 2WD pickups and SUVs. Choose either a 2-5/16″ ball (20,000 lb GTW / 2,000 lb TW) or a 2″ ball (10,000 lb GTW / 1,000 lb TW). Each sway kit includes a friction arm assembly, 1-1/4″ trailer mini ball, 1-1/4″ hitch mounted ball, lock washer, nut, 4 metal lag screws, and 2 retaining clips. Additional ball mount options are available separately.
Fits 2″, 2-1/2″, and 3″ receiver tubes. Compatible with full-size and mid-size pickups, vans, and select SUVs where the receiver sits under the bumper. Not compatible with weight-distribution hitch systems.
