The Shocker Max Black Air Ride Sway Control Towing Kit combines a 12,000 lb GTW air ride receiver hitch with friction sway control for smoother, safer bumper pull towing. The built-in air ride system absorbs road shock, bumps, jerks, and tugs on highways and rough Canadian back roads, while naturally reducing trailer sway tendency. The adjustable friction sway arm stiffens the truck-to-trailer connection to fine-tune sway control for your specific trailer. Use one sway kit for trailers up to 10,000 lbs or 24 feet, and two kits for heavier or longer trailers. Adjust air pressure at any time to match your load.
The rocker arm pivot design keeps the system straightforward — no slides, parallel linkages, rollers, shock absorbers, or multiple air bags. The included black combo ball mount features a 2-5/16″ ball (20,000 lb GTW) and a 2″ ball (10,000 lb GTW) with dual welded sway bar tabs and 8 adjustment holes for 1/2″ to 4-1/2″ of drop, in a solid one-piece welded construction with a matte black powder-coat finish. Each sway kit includes a friction arm assembly, 1-1/4″ trailer mini ball, 1-1/4″ hitch mounted ball, lock washer, nut, 4 metal lag screws, and 2 retaining clips. Additional ball mount options are available separately.
Fits 2″, 2-1/2″, and 3″ receiver tubes. Compatible with full-size and mid-size pickups, vans, and select SUVs where the receiver sits under the bumper — including Ford F-150–F-550, Ranger, Maverick, Chevrolet Silverado, Colorado, GMC Sierra, Canyon, Dodge Ram, Toyota Tundra, Tacoma, Nissan Titan, Frontier, Honda Ridgeline, and Hyundai Santa Cruz. Not compatible with weight-distribution hitch systems.
