The Shocker XR Series Receiver Hitch is a heavy-duty adjustable ball mount hitch built for maximum versatility across a wide range of trucks, trailers, and towing applications. With up to 20,000 lb GTW capacity depending on receiver size, the XR handles everything from boat trailers and campers to heavy equipment — with a simple, reliable solid mount design that requires no air or cushion systems.
The XR’s flip-around design gives you more drop or rise without additional hardware, and 8 or 10 adjustment holes — depending on the frame selected — provide up to 9.5″ of drop and 5″ of rise. Two hitch pin holes on the receiver shank allow for length adjustment and leave room to run hitch-mounted mud flaps or Shocker tow flaps.
Build your own setup by selecting your receiver size (fits 2″, 2½″, and 3″ tubes) and choosing from over 20 ball mount attachments — combo ball, drop, raised, pintle hook, drawbar, clevis, cushioned drawbar, and sway tab variations. Ball mount attachments bolt to a standard mount with a 1¼″ thick bolt and feature a premium finish for long-lasting durability.
Fits full-size and mid-size pickup trucks, vans, SUVs, CUVs, and motorhomes with a standard under-bumper receiver.

Safety Notice: It’s important you read and follow the tongue & gross towing weight recommendations of all components of your trailer towing set up. This includes the tow vehicle, receiver hitch, tow hitch, ball mount attachment, trailer coupler & the ratings of the trailer you are towing. Never exceed max for any of the components you are using. If the coupler rating is 8,000 lbs and the hitch is 12,000 lbs, then don’t tow over 8,000 lbs.

Insert the shank of the hitch into the receiver of your tow vehicle. Make sure you are using the correct size shank to work with your receiver. Secure the hitch with a hitch pin. Adjust the ball mount attachment so your tow vehicle and trailer are level. You can flipped the XR frame around for more drop or more rise.
