- Distributes Weight: Ideally used when your pickup truck or SUV cannot handle the tongue weight of the trailer you are towing. This evenly distributes weight over the axles of tow vehicle and trailer for stability and control.
- Levels the Load: Creates a more level ride for both tow vehicle and trailer you are towing.
- Up to 7″ Trailer Frames: Clamp-on brackets fit up to 4″ to 7″ tall and 1.5 to 2″ wide trailer frames.
- Ball Mount Has Sway Arm Bar Mounts: For additional sway control, friction sway arm bar kits are available and sold separately. The hitch head has sway bar mount tabs.

This weight-distributing hitch system is made to evenly distribute weight and reduce trailer sway. This weight distributing system with adjustable chains offers class IV rated 1,200 pound TW / 12,000 pound (GTW) system. Ideally used when your pickup truck or SUV won’t handle the tongue weight of the trailer you are towing. Often used on campers and other heavier trailers.
