The Shocker Streamline Aluminum Air Ride Sway Control Towing Kit combines the Shocker Streamline Aluminum Air Hitch with one or two friction sway control arm kits to deliver shock-free towing for pickups, vans, and select SUVs. The system carries a 10,000 lb towing capacity and 1,000 lb tongue weight rating, with air pressure adjustable to fine-tune ride quality as trailer weight changes.
The all-aluminum base frame, shank, and paddle keep the hitch lightweight and rust-free while the built-in air spring and dual rubber bump cushions absorb the jerks, tugs, and thumps experienced on rough roads and concrete highways. A rocker arm pivot design produces a down-and-back motion that eliminates the need for slides, parallel linkages, rollers, shock absorbers, or multiple air bags. The black powder-coated steel combo ball mount features welded 2″ and 2-5/16″ hitch balls with sway bar tabs on both sides and 8 adjustment holes providing 1/2″ to 4-1/2″ of drop.
The kit includes the complete Shocker air receiver hitch base frame assembly with built-in air bag and dual bump cushions, the combo ball mount with sway bar tabs, two D-handle hitch pins, and one or two sway control arm kits. Each sway control arm kit includes the friction arm assembly, one 1-1/4″ trailer-mounted mini ball, one 1-1/4″ hitch-mounted ball with lock washer and nut, four metal lag screws, and two retaining clips. Order with one sway arm kit for trailers under 24′ and two kits for trailers over 24′.
Fits full-size and midsize pickup trucks, vans, and select SUVs where the receiver hitch sits under the bumper, in 2″, 2-1/2″, and 3″ receiver tubes. Not compatible with weight-distribution hitch systems. Towing capacity is limited by the lowest-rated component.
