I would like to review this hitch but it hasn’t arrived yet.

Recently purchased the 20k max black receiver hitch. Towing a 30’ travel trailer with 1700lb tonque weight with 3rd gen Ram 3500 DRW . First trip of 2500km in Dec 2025 showed an improvement of road shock transmitted to truck of 80-90% . ( I am mostly referring to roads with cracks, irregularities that would give a constant annoying small chuck to truck cab. Also bridge /overpass mismatch heights are greatly improved and much less stressful to trailer and truck.
One thing of note: If using a friction style sway control and bar is too tight , it will greatly reduce ability of hitch ball to pivot as designed.
I know this because first half of trip was completed without swaybar installed due to slippery (ice) road conditions. After installing swaybar noticed a reduction in ride quality. Backed swaybar friction clamp to 1/2 turn from free movement and this returned improved ride quality from first half of trip.
I am very pleased with change in ride quality and fully recommend this setup for a stiffer suspension found in 3/4-1 ton trucks.

Really good product

Really good quality product and was easy to install. I got a 8500 pounds travel trailer and makes a lot of difference using this shocker air.

I tournament fish out of a Hobie kayak, which I transport in my 42′ toy hauler. When I get to the camp ground I take the kayak out of the trailer and need to put it the bed of my truck. I didn’t want to deal with a traditional 5th wheel hitch in the bed of my truck, so I knew I needed a gooseneck hitch. After a bit of research I settled on Shocker Hitch Gooseneck Air Hitch conversion kit. The conversion was very easy….I was able to handle it myself in my driveway. I have a RAM 3500 dually with an 8′ bed. It has a toolbox and a tri-fold tonneau cover. I able to keep the tonneau cover on (folded back) when I’m pulling the trailer. When I get to the campsite, I unhook, pull the ball out of the bed, then I’m able to slide my kayak in and put the tonneau cover down.

First trip out and very impressed with the ShockerHitch. It’s able to absorb most of the chucking and bucking. And being able to have use of the bed of truck in 30 seconds, makes the ShockerHitch a win, win for me.

Unsure on the air ride. It seems to have smoothed out some of the bumps. The cost is what I’m not sure if it’s worth it. Drove 4000 km and will need to run it on a few more trips to see if it is worth the cost.

Block would not slide into my receiver without a pry bar, even with the bag deflated. The mount screws for the bag interfered with the lip on my factory F450 hitch. Once aired up the block was not able to be removed without emptying the bag and using a prybar to assist the screws from clearing the lip in the factory hitch. The hitch is advertised that it allows a drop mount but I was only able to get about 1 1/2” drop on the pintle. The concept seemed good but the details and adjustability were not. Will be looking for another solution.

Terrific service from Mika. Needed locking hitch pins delivered very quickly. He got them to me within two days ( even faster than expected and no shipping charge ! ). Pins are solid and hefty. Nice security keys on locks. Only rated 4 stars as just installed. Time and moisture will dictate just how good these pins really are. I am expecting good performance from stainless steel and quality construction. If these are the last locking pins I ever have to buy, I will be ecstatic . Yes, Pricy – but well worth it if they don’t rust up and the locks remain serviceable.
