Simple Pivot Design

Shocker Hitches use a rocker arm pivot design, and have since our first hitches in 2001. This design provides a down and back motion, much different than other air hitches on the market.

Our pivot design also eliminates the need for slides, parallel linkages, rollers, shock absorbers, or multiple air bags common to other air hitches.

Shocker Dampening Action

Mel and Ethelann Stewart

Mel and Ethelann Stewart started in the retail business in 1964, serving the people of the Peace River Country. Mel and Ethelann have resided and raised their family of 3 here.

In 2007, Mel saw these incredible hitches with an air bag to take up the jolt of the road heaves that transfer from trailer to vehicle and he order in his first shipment.

He used it himself and a few friends, also tried them out and were absolutely amazed at the difference it made in the ride of the vehicle and how the trailers rode more smoothly while being towed. Shocker Hitches eliminated the transfer of the rough road to the vehicle and vice versa.

This has expanded into the "Shocker Air Ride Hitch" usage from the bumper pull, to the Gooseneck hitch, for livestock, horse and flatbed trailers. Now the folks are realizing a smoother ride for their cargo and themselves.
